Harry Dendy of Clinton, Mississippi, was inducted into the National 4-H Hall of Fame during ceremonies in Chevy Chase, Maryland.

Mr. Dendy has been involved with 4-H for over 56 years, beginning at age 10 under his mother's leadership as a volunteer 4-H leader in Chickasaw County.

Currently serves as Vice Chairman of the Mississippi 4-H Foundation Board of Trustees and actively lobbies congressmen to support 4-H programs across the state.

Prior to retirement, Mr. Dendy worked as a legislative lobbyist and consultant for the Farm Credit Bank of Texas while maintaining devoted service to 4-H.

House of Representatives commends and congratulates Mr. Dendy for his induction and extends wishes for continued success in his future endeavors.
