Commends the Jones County Junior College (JCJC) Bobcats Baseball Team for their 2011 season and participation in the NJCAA Division II World Series held May 28-June 4, 2011 in Enid, Oklahoma.

Team achieved an 11-1 overall record at the World Series, winning four consecutive games before losing to Western Oklahoma State College, finishing second in national rankings.

JCJC won the MACJC South Division crown, defeated East Mississippi Community College in state playoffs, and won the first state championship title for the school since 2002.

Team earned its first-ever regional championship by defeating defending national champions LSU-Eunice in the Region 23 Tournament championship series.

Head Coach Christian Ostrander named Coach of the Year by MACJC, Region 23, and the Mississippi Association of Coaches; multiple players earned All-American and All-Star honors.
