Commends the Boys and Girls Clubs of the Mississippi Delta on their 10th anniversary, celebrated on March 15, 2012, at the Alluvian Hotel in Greenwood, Mississippi

Organization serves more than 2,300 children ages 6-18 across seven Delta counties (Coahoma, Grenada, Holmes, Leflore, Tallahatchie, Tunica, and Yazoo) through nine club sites with over 30 employees

Programs focus on character and leadership development, health and life skills, education and career development, arts, sports, fitness, and recreation

Zero teenage pregnancies have been reported among club members over the 10-year period, despite the Delta having some of Mississippi's highest teenage pregnancy rates

Resolution directs copies be furnished to the organization, Chairman Jonathan Compretta, Boys and Girls Clubs of America President/CEO Jim Clark, and the Capitol Press Corps
