Recognizes and commends 11 Parklane Academy students in McComb, Mississippi for establishing the P2D2 Program to educate the public about proper prescription drug disposal.

Notes that one in five teens abuse prescription medication, misuse causes over three-fourths of prescription drug abuse cases, and painkillers cause more overdose deaths than cocaine and heroin combined.

Documents that Parklane students collected over 250 pounds of prescription medications during multiple drug take-back days in Pike County through the P2D2 Program using environmentally friendly disposal methods.

Acknowledges that students successfully advocated for passage of House Bill No. 423 to expand the McComb-based program statewide and presented the program to McComb's Mayor and Board of Selectmen.

Directs that copies of the resolution be provided to The Clarion-Ledger, Enterprise Journal, McComb Police Department, Mississippi Pharmacists Association, the P2D2 Program, and the Parklane Academy students.
