Authorizes municipalities and counties along the highway to designate historical sites and events to create structured tours for tourists and targeted groups

Requires the Mississippi Department of Transportation to purchase, approve, erect, and maintain appropriate heritage highway markers using available funds

Effective date of July 1, 2012
