Appropriates an additional $5,500,000 from the State General Fund to the State Department of Education's Mississippi Adequate Education Program for fiscal year 2012.

Funds are designated specifically for fully funding the School District High-Growth Formula.

State Treasurer shall disburse funds upon warrants issued by the State Fiscal Officer based on requisitions from proper authorized persons.

Act takes effect upon passage and remains in force through the fiscal year ending June 30, 2012.
