Eliminates the right of school superintendents whose employment has been terminated or not renewed to request a hearing before the school board or a hearing officer.

Applies the hearing elimination to superintendent terminations under Section 37-9-59 (for incompetence, neglect of duty, immoral conduct, intemperance, brutal treatment, or other good cause) and non-renewals of superintendent contracts.

Modifies Section 37-9-109 to add exceptions stating superintendents cannot request hearings for termination or non-renewal, while other school employees retain their hearing rights.

Modifies Section 37-9-111 to make its hearing procedures inapplicable to superintendents whose employment has been terminated or not renewed.

Becomes effective July 1, 2012.
