Amends Section 43-21-651 of Mississippi Code to align the appeal timeline from youth court to the Mississippi Supreme Court with the Judicial Rules of Appellate Procedure.

Appeals from youth court final orders or decrees go to the Mississippi Supreme Court, with written notice of appeal filed with the youth court clerk within the time required for appeals to the Supreme Court.

Appellant must pay court costs in youth court and filing fees in the Supreme Court as otherwise required, or may appeal without prepayment upon filing affidavit of inability to pay.

Only the child's initials shall appear on the appeal record.

Appeals from youth court are designated as preference cases in the Supreme Court.
