Amends Mississippi Code Section 63-7-59 to exempt government-owned fire department vehicles and volunteer fire department vehicles from window tint restrictions.

Adds fire department vehicles to existing exemptions that already included school buses, public transportation buses, nonprofit organization vehicles, funeral home vehicles, and government-owned law enforcement vehicles.

Maintains all other window tint requirements, including the 28% minimum light transmittance standard for non-exempt vehicles and medical exemption provisions for vehicles owned by persons with sun-sensitive medical conditions.

Takes effect July 1, 2012.
