MS SB2351

Allows county boards of supervisors to grade, gravel, shell, repair, and maintain private roads or driveways used for school bus turnarounds.

Expands who can request turnaround work to include either the school board or the local superintendent of schools (previously only school board).

Requires county boards to document in official minutes the written request, written approval, specific location, and property owner name before performing turnaround maintenance work.

Limits approval validity period to one year or the anticipated duration of turnaround use, whichever is shorter.

Takes effect July 1, 2012.
