Establishes tiered penalties for accessory after the fact based on whether the underlying felony was violent or nonviolent.

For violent crimes, imprisonment not to exceed 20 years in the Department of Corrections.

For nonviolent felonies with maximum punishment of 10 years or more, imprisonment not to exceed 10 years.

For nonviolent felonies with maximum punishment less than 10 years, imprisonment not to exceed the underlying felony's maximum punishment.

Defines "violent crime" to include homicide, robbery, manslaughter, sex crimes, burglary of occupied dwellings, aggravated assault, kidnapping, drug manufacturing or sale, and specific child abuse violations.
