Creates the Uniform Adult Guardianship and Protective Proceedings Jurisdiction Act in Mississippi Code Chapter 93-14, establishing uniform rules for guardianship and conservatorship jurisdiction across states.

Establishes exclusive jurisdictional bases for appointing guardians or issuing protective orders, prioritizing the respondent's "home state" (where they resided for at least six consecutive months) and allowing courts to consider significant connections to other states.

Permits courts to communicate and cooperate with courts in other states, including requesting evidence, testimony, evaluations, and information sharing regarding guardianship and protective proceedings.

Provides procedures for transferring guardianships or conservatorships between states, including provisional orders and acceptance processes, and allows registration and recognition of guardianship and protective orders issued in other states.

Applies to guardianship and protective proceedings begun on or after July 1, 2012, with certain provisions applying to earlier proceedings regardless of whether orders have been issued.
