Amends Section 27-105-305 to address conflicts of interest when banks bid to become county depositories in Mississippi.

Allows the board of supervisors to decline opening bids and instead submit the matter to the State Treasurer if any bid would create a direct or indirect financial interest for a board member.

Grants the State Treasurer authority to open, consider bids, select depositories, approve securities, and manage all related depository functions when the board refers the matter.

Alternatively, if the board chooses to open and consider bids itself, prohibits accepting any bid that would create a conflict of interest for a board member.

Takes effect upon passage.
