Amends Section 73-13-41 of Mississippi Code to add a new exemption to engineers licensing requirements for activities conducted during or in anticipation of litigation.

Exemption covers litigation-related work including analyzing, evaluating, consulting, reconstructing, testing, and offering expert testimony.

Exemption does not apply in legal proceedings where the litigation subject matter involves nonforensic engineering activity that is legally required to be performed under a Mississippi engineer's license.

Effective July 1, 2012.
