Reenacts and amends the Mississippi Respiratory Care Practice Act to require applicants for respiratory care licensure to hold a credential from the National Board for Respiratory Care as a Certified Respiratory Technician (CRT) or Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT), rather than meeting separate statutory educational requirements

Authorizes temporary six-month permits for students in approved respiratory care education programs who are within 30 days of graduation and eligible to sit for the CRT or RRT examination

Establishes that licensed respiratory care practitioners may use the titles "L.R.C.P.", "RCP", or "RCP-L" and clarifies that respiratory care must be performed pursuant to orders of a Mississippi-licensed physician

Requires biennial license renewal with at least 15 hours of continuing education, and allows reinstatement within two years of lapse upon payment of renewal and reinstatement fees

Repeals existing statutory examination requirements and grandfather provisions for licensure, shifting credentialing authority to the National Board for Respiratory Care standards
