Amends Mississippi Code sections 41-60-11 and 41-60-13 to add definitions for "Paramedic" and "Paramedic-Critical Care" regarding advanced life support personnel.

Defines "Paramedic" as a person specially trained in an advanced life support training program authorized by the Mississippi State Board of Health.

Defines "Paramedic-Critical Care" as a licensed Mississippi Paramedic who has completed a critical care paramedic program recognized by the Bureau of Emergency Medical Services and received endorsement to practice under physician supervision.

Requires the Mississippi State Board of Health to promulgate rules and regulations for advanced life support personnel that meet or exceed United States Department of Transportation training standards for paramedics and paramedic-critical care.

Takes effect July 1, 2012.
