Allows constables to participate in the seizure and distribution of assets under the Uniform Controlled Substances Law by adding provisions to Sections 41-29-176, 41-29-177, 41-29-179, 41-29-181, and 41-29-185 of Mississippi Code.

Constables gain the same authority as other law enforcement agencies to participate in asset forfeiture proceedings, including administrative forfeiture of property valued at $10,000 or less.

Constables become eligible to receive their proportional share of forfeited property proceeds distributed among participating law enforcement agencies.

Effective July 1, 2012.
