Amends Section 49-7-31 of the Mississippi Code to allow landowners or leaseholders of private lands to use any weapon of their choice during primitive weapon seasons that occur after the last regular gun and dog hunting season for deer.

Applies specifically to primitive weapon seasons occurring after December 23 each year, when the standard regulated seasons end.

Maintains existing deer season structure with bow and arrow (October 1 through Friday before Thanksgiving), gun and dog seasons (Saturday before Thanksgiving through December 1 and December 24 through a date fixed by the commission), and primitive weapon seasons (December 2-15).

Takes effect on July 1, 2012.
