Amends Section 15-1-13 of Mississippi Code to add new requirements for adverse possession cases where a plaintiff successfully claims ownership based on 10 years of actual adverse possession.

Requires the prevailing plaintiff to pay the defendant the fair market value of the property that was adversely possessed.

Requires the prevailing plaintiff to reimburse the defendant for all property taxes paid by the defendant for the 10 years preceding the court decree, to the extent those taxes are attributable to the adversely possessed property.

Effective July 1, 2012.
