Authorizes issuance of distinctive motor vehicle license tags to Mississippi residents who support the Mississippi Emergency Medical Technicians Association upon payment of an additional $30.00 fee per tag.

Tag design and color determined by the Department of Revenue in consultation with the Mississippi Emergency Medical Technicians Association; tags must be renewed annually with the vehicle registration.

County tax collectors retain $2.00 from each additional fee for deposit into the county general fund; remaining fees remitted monthly to the Department of Revenue.

Each $30.00 fee distributed as follows: $24.00 to the Mississippi Emergency Medical Technicians Association, $1.00 to the Mississippi Burn Care Fund, $2.00 to the State Highway Fund, and $1.00 to a special fund created in Section 27-19-44.2.

Replacement tags cost $10.00 with county tax collectors retaining 5% for the county general fund and the remainder distributed according to the standard fee distribution formula; effective July 1, 2012.
