Establishes the Office of Mississippi Physician Workforce within the Mississippi Development Authority, headed by a licensed physician director, to oversee physician workforce development and needs in Mississippi.

Creates the Mississippi Physician Workforce Commission composed of representatives from medical associations, universities, the State Board of Health, hospitals, and other entities to administer the office and develop workforce strategies.

Authorizes the commission to award up to $3,000,000 in state financial support over three years to hospitals and entities establishing ACGME-accredited Family Medicine residency programs based on geographic needs and demonstrated commitment.

Requires the office to assess current physician numbers and distribution by specialty, evaluate current and future workforce needs, and provide annual reports to the Governor and Legislature on physician workforce status.

Stipulates that Family Medicine residency programs funded by the state must accept students from both LCME-accredited medical schools and AOA-accredited osteopathic schools.
