Allow law enforcement officers and agencies to file traffic tickets by electronic or computer means if the ticket conforms to all substantive requirements, including layout and content, as prescribed by the Commissioner of Public Safety and Attorney General.

Electronic tickets are not required to be bound in book form, but must be consecutively numbered and accounted for by the issuing officer.

Defendants must receive a paper copy of electronically filed tickets, and officers filing electronically are considered to have certified the ticket with the same rights, responsibilities, and liabilities as physical tickets.

Create a separate uniform traffic ticket specifically for violations of the Mississippi Implied Consent Law, with the same requirements as standard traffic tickets.

Effective date is July 1, 2012.
