Authorizes municipal courts to charge a $50.00 filing fee for any proceeding to expunge a municipal court record.

Corrects a cross-reference error in Section 99-19-72 by specifying the fee applies to petitions to expunge offenses under Section 99-19-71(2).

Maintains the $150.00 filing fee for circuit court expunction petitions, distributed as: $100.00 to Judicial System Operation Fund, $40.00 to District Attorneys Operation Fund, and $10.00 to circuit clerk for administration.

Effective date: July 1, 2012.
