Designates January 25, 2012, as "Mississippi Children's Home Services Recognition Day" at the State Capitol to commemorate the organization's 100th anniversary.

Recognizes Mississippi Children's Home Services, which began on January 2, 1912, in Meridian as the state's first home-finding and adoption agency and has evolved into the state's largest private nonprofit provider of social and behavioral health services.

Commends Executive Director Christopher M. Cherney for 33 years of service leading unprecedented organizational growth and development of comprehensive services throughout Mississippi.

Acknowledges the organization's founding firsts including the state's first therapeutic group home, first residential treatment center for chemically dependent youth, and first nonprofit psychiatric residential treatment facility for children and adolescents.

Calls upon Mississippians and encourages corporations, foundations, and individuals to support Mississippi Children's Home Services in serving vulnerable children and families for the next century.
