Acknowledges Robinson's over four decades of playing blues and jazz, beginning at age six in Benton and Mileston, Mississippi.

Highlights Robinson's performances and collaborations with blues icons including B.B. King, Little Milton Campbell, Bobby Rush, Buddy Guy, and Junior Wells across Jackson, Chicago, and national venues.

Notes Robinson's musical contributions including co-writing a song with Cassandra Wilson that appeared on her 2002 CD and releasing his own albums "Blues Child" (2004) and a Christmas album.

Directs that this resolution be presented to Jesse Robinson and forwarded to the Mississippi Arts Commission and Capitol Press Corps.
