Clinton High School Arrows Boys Soccer Team won the MHSAA Class 6A State Championship on February 4, 2012, defeating Gulfport 2-0 on their home field with a record of 23-2-2.

Championship was the ninth state title in school history and fourth under Coach Jeff Long, earning the Arrows the No. 2 ranking in The Clarion-Ledger's final standings.

Team set school records with 16 shutouts and 13 goals allowed all season; senior Michael Orcutt led scoring with 23 goals and 11 assists including nine game-winning goals.

Goalkeeper Jake Files earned Coach Long's praise as Player of the Year for breaking numerous school records while maintaining the dominant defensive performance.

Senate and House commend and congratulate the Arrows team, Coach Jeff Long, players, coaches, parents, and sponsors for bringing honor to Clinton High School and Mississippi.
