Florence High School Lady Eagles Soccer Team won the 2012 Mississippi High School Activities Association Class 4A Girls Soccer Championship, defeating Bay High School 2-1 on February 4, 2012 in Clinton, Mississippi.

The Lady Eagles finished the season with an overall record of 18-3-4, scored 86 total goals while allowing only 13, and ranked seventh out of 128 teams in the state.

Head Coach Gray Massey led the team with assistance from Assistant Coach Josh Cavanaugh and Managers Anna Claire Wooten and Brittney Jones.

The 29-member roster maintained an impressive team grade point average of 3.662 on a 4.0 scale while competing athletically.

The resolution commends the team and coaching staff for their dedication, sportsmanship, and bringing honor to Florence High School, the community, and the state.
