Recognizes Mississippi State University basketball coach Rick Stansbury's retirement on March 15, 2012, after 14 years as head coach and 22 years total with the university.

Acknowledges Stansbury's record of 293 wins (fourth most in SEC history), five Western Division titles, one overall SEC title in 2004, and two SEC Tournament championships including the 2009 four-games-in-four-days run.

Notes that prior to Stansbury's arrival, Mississippi State had seven 20-win seasons; under his tenure that number increased to 17, with six NCAA Tournament bids and five NIT appearances.

Credits Stansbury as an assistant coach (1991-1998) with recruiting key players including Erick Dampier and Donta Jones who contributed to the program's 1995 Sweet 16 and 1996 Final Four appearances.

Expresses gratitude to Stansbury and his wife Meo for their 14 years of service and their exemplary representation of Mississippi State University.
