Recognizes the 75th anniversary of the Young Lawyers Division of The Mississippi Bar, which was founded on September 4, 1936, as the Junior Bar Section by Hugh N. Clayton, L.O. Smith Jr., and W. Calvin Wells Jr.

Documents the division's historical achievements, including the 1942 passage of legislation to publish the Mississippi Code in multiple volumes, formation of the Unauthorized Practice of Law Committee in 1950, and the first Young Lawyers' Seminar in 1958.

Highlights the division's name change from "Junior Bar Section" to "Young Lawyers Section" in 1970 and recognition by the American Bar Association in 1966 for having one of the most outstanding programs for young lawyers in the nation.

Honors the division's modern initiatives including the distribution of 115,000 "Consequences of Misconduct in School" brochures to middle school students in 2000, the 2003 Teen Court Forum, and Hurricane Katrina Disaster Legal Assistance Training implemented in 2008.

Directs that the resolution be presented to current Young Lawyers Division President Jennifer Hall, forwarded to the Mississippi Board of Bar Commissioners, and made available to the Capitol Press Corps.
