Recognizes and salutes Brittney Reese of Gulfport, Mississippi, a World Outdoor and World Indoor Gold Medalist in long jump.

Reese won the 2009 World Athletics Championships in Berlin with a jump of 7.10 meters and the 2010 IAAF World Indoor Championships with a jump of 6.70 meters.

Reese is a three-time USA Outdoor Champion (2009, 2010, 2011) and two-time USA Indoor Champion (2009, 2010), and won the 2008 Olympic Trials.

Reese attended Gulfport High School where she earned the 2004 Gatorade "Player of the Year" Award and later competed at the University of Mississippi in long jump, high jump, and triple jump.

Commends Reese as a Sports Ambassador for Mississippi who has brought pride to her school, community, and state, and extends best wishes for her continued success.
