Recognizes Colonel Deborah Walley Coleman for her notable military and civic accomplishments upon her retirement from the Mississippi Army National Guard.

Coleman served in the Mississippi National Guard since 1985 in multiple roles including Platoon Leader, Company Commander, and various staff positions, with deployments during Desert Shield/Storm and Operation Iraqi Freedom III.

Her military education includes Officer Candidate School, Transportation Officer Basic Course, Quartermaster Officer Advanced Course, and Command and General Staff College; she holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from University of Southern Mississippi and is enrolled in an MBA program at Belhaven University.

Received numerous military awards and decorations including Meritorious Service Medal, Army Commendation Medal with Valor Device, and Kuwait Liberation Medals, along with state honors and recognition as Mississippi's Top 40 Under 40 in 2008 and one of Mississippi's 50 Leading Business Women in 2010.

Currently serves as Counterdrug Coordinator for the Mississippi National Guard Counterdrug Task Force and Commandant of the Regional Counterdrug Training Academy in Meridian; resides in Brandon with two sons.
