Recognizes and salutes Coach Aubrey Dale Rozzell's sports legacy and the Clarksdale & Coahoma County Sports Hall of Fame established in his honor.

Coach Rozzell graduated from Delta State University in 1956 as a five-year letterman in baseball and football, then played professional football for the Chicago Bears, Pittsburgh Steelers, and Montreal Allouettes as a linebacker before injuries ended his career.

The Aubrey Rozzell Sports Hall of Fame honors athletes from Coahoma County who meet criteria including living in the county, being NCAA All-American athletes, playing professional sports, or making significant contributions to sports through broadcasting or journalism.

Rozzell later served as Assistant Football and Head Baseball Coach at Holmes Junior College and Assistant Football Coach and Head Baseball Coach at Pascagoula High School.

The resolution directs that the text be presented to Coach Rozzell and the President of the Clarksdale & Coahoma County Sports Hall of Fame Foundation and made available to the Capitol Press Corps.
