Amends Section 97-41-11 to establish a fine not to exceed $500 or imprisonment of 10-100 days, or both, for persons involved in cock fighting or other animal fighting operations.

Applies the revised punishment to anyone who keeps, manages, receives admission money for, or participates in cock fighting or similar animal fighting activities.

Amends Section 97-41-13 to clarify that cock fighting violations fall under separate provisions from general animal cruelty statutes (Sections 97-41-3 through 97-41-9).

Takes effect July 1, 2013.
