Amends Section 43-21-111 of Mississippi Code to modify training requirements for youth court referees appointed in counties without a county court or family court.

A referee who fails to attend required judicial training approved by the Mississippi Judicial College after initial appointment but before performing duties as a referee shall be disqualified and immediately removed from office.

Maintains existing requirement that referees miss two consecutive training sessions or fail to attend one required session to trigger disqualification, with the new provision specifically addressing training completion prior to beginning work.

Another member of the bar must be appointed as a replacement referee if disqualification occurs under these circumstances.

Takes effect July 1, 2013.
