Allows persons age 21 and older to make homemade beer for personal, family, domestic or household use in counties or municipalities where possession of light wine or beer is lawful.

Limits homemade beer production to 100 gallons per calendar year for households with one adult over 21, and 200 gallons for households with two or more adults over 21.

Permits transport of homemade beer only for participation in bona fide exhibitions, contests, or competitions where homemade beer is tasted and judged; prohibits sale or offering for sale under any circumstances.

Exempts homemade beer made under these provisions from state brewing and manufacturing permit requirements and related criminal penalties.

Effective date: July 1, 2013.
