Amends Mississippi Code sections 33-1-21 and 33-1-19 to extend military leave benefits to members of the National Disaster Medical System.

Grants members of the National Disaster Medical System up to 15 days of paid leave without loss of annual leave or efficiency rating when ordered to duty, and unlimited unpaid leave thereafter until relieved from duty.

Requires employees on military duty or training to be restored to their previous position or a similar position with the same status, pay, and seniority upon satisfactory completion of duty.

Provides that county and district attorneys shall represent any employee denied reinstatement at no cost to the employee, and employees cannot be discharged without cause within one year of restoration.

Takes effect July 1, 2013.
