Designates four segments of highways in Madison County as the official Mississippi Scenic Byway known as the "Gateway to History" pursuant to Mississippi Code Section 65-41-1 et seq.

Segment 1 consists of Highway 463 from the intersection of Reunion Parkway north for 4.8 miles to Highway 22.

Segment 2 consists of Highway 22 west from Highway 463 for 8.7 miles to the Petrified Forest in the Town of Flora.

Segment 3 consists of Highway 22 east from Highway 463 for 12.3 miles to Canton, excluding a 1.4-mile four-lane section around the I-55 interchange.

Segment 4 consists of Highway 22/16 from Highway 51 in Canton for 1.7 miles, then Highway 43 for 6.7 miles to the Natchez Trace.
