MS HB1260

Expands the existing beaver control program to include wild hog control and eradication on private and public lands (excluding federally owned lands).

Requires state funds for wild hog control to be authorized only through specific line-item appropriations by the Legislature.

Renames the "Beaver Control Advisory Board" to the "Beaver and Wild Hog Control Advisory Board" and adds the Chairmen of the House and Senate Agriculture Committees as nonvoting members.

Maintains the board's composition of administrative heads from relevant state agencies and organizations, with nonvoting members including legislators from Wildlife, Fisheries and Parks and Agriculture Committees.

Takes effect July 1, 2013.
