Amends Mississippi Code Section 63-11-30 to allow sentences for DUI violations to include house arrest at a rehabilitation center as an alternative to jail time.

Permits house arrest by private or public entities or inpatient treatment at an alcohol and drug rehabilitation center to satisfy imprisonment requirements for second DUI convictions within five years.

Applies to persons convicted of operating a vehicle while under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or controlled substances, or with specified blood alcohol concentrations.

Maintains existing penalties including fines, driver's license suspension, mandatory alcohol safety education programs, and community service requirements for DUI convictions.

Effective date: July 1, 2013.
