Adds new paragraph (28) to Section 43-13-115 to expand Medicaid eligibility to individuals under 65 years old who are not pregnant, not entitled to Medicare benefits, and whose income does not exceed 133% of the federal poverty level.

Eligible individuals under the new paragraph (28) shall receive benchmark coverage or benchmark equivalent coverage as described in the federal Social Security Act.

The Division of Medicaid shall determine eligibility for individuals covered under this new provision.

The effective date of this act is January 1, 2014.
