School districts accredited at one of the three lowest levels must adopt policies requiring daily homework, daily reading assignments with written comprehension assessments, manuscript and cursive writing instruction, and minimum five vocabulary words per week in each subject area.

Low-performing districts must require students to read at least one book per subject monthly with written reports, mandate school uniforms for students, require professional dress for teachers (prohibiting jeans and t-shirts), and require parents to participate in one supportive school service.

Districts must limit school holidays to Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's, Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Spring Break, and Good Friday, prohibit permanent early release days, and hold parent-teacher conferences mid-way through each nine-week term for struggling or poorly-behaved students.

Alternative school programs in low-performing districts must operate minimum eight hours daily on weekdays and Saturdays (called "Attitude Adjustment Day"), with Saturdays featuring retired military, first responders, mentors, and volunteers sharing knowledge and community service opportunities.

All school districts must implement a video streaming program with the U.S. Department of Labor to develop a career-track curriculum based on the five fastest-growing occupations in Mississippi and twenty fastest-growing nationally over five years, enabling students to earn a standard high school diploma while preparing for workforce entry or post-secondary education.
