Deletes the provision in Mississippi's compulsory school attendance law that allowed parents or guardians to disenroll a child on a one-time basis from full-day public school kindergarten programs.

Children who enroll in full-day public kindergarten are now considered compulsory-school-age children and must remain enrolled until they reach age 17.

Makes minor technical corrections to existing compulsory school attendance statutes, including changing "which" to "that" and "pursuant to" to "under" in relevant sections.

Effective date is July 1, 2013.
