Increases the adjustment to the base student cost for at-risk students from 5% to 50% under the Mississippi Adequate Education Program (MAEP).

The at-risk adjustment is calculated by multiplying the base student cost by the percentage (now 50%) and the number of pupils participating in the federal free school lunch program.

Makes various technical corrections and grammar updates throughout Section 37-151-7, Mississippi Code of 1972, including changing "said" to "the" and "such" to specific references.

Effective date is July 1, 2013.
