Amends Section 43-13-117 of Mississippi Code to classify injectable drugs as prescription drugs rather than medical services for Medicaid reimbursement purposes, regardless of whether acquired from a pharmacy or wholesaler.

Requires the Division of Medicaid to provide reimbursement for injectable drugs using prescription drug reimbursement methodologies and rates.

Extends the repeal date of Section 43-13-117 from July 1, 2013, to July 1, 2014.

Takes effect July 1, 2013.
