Increases the maximum assistance per county from $650,000 to $720,000 under the Rural Fire Truck Acquisition Assistance Program administered by the Department of Insurance.

Expands the number of fire trucks counties can receive from eleven (11) to twelve (12), with six trucks at up to $50,000 each and six trucks at up to $70,000 each.

Adds a new eligibility tier (subsection xii) allowing counties that have received eleven fire trucks to apply for one additional truck at up to $70,000.

Requires counties and municipalities to pledge matching funds equal to at least one-tenth of the requested amount over a period not exceeding ten years from local sources.

Takes effect July 1, 2013.
