Appropriates $8,992,679.00 from the State General Fund and $6,486,899.00 from special funds to the Department of Archives and History for fiscal year 2014 (July 1, 2013 - June 30, 2014).

Authorizes 141 permanent full-time positions, 6 permanent part-time positions, and 6 time-limited full-time positions for the department.

Allocates $2,000,000.00 from the Mississippi Landmark Grant Fund for preservation of Mississippi Landmark Properties and $100,000.00 for Beauvoir Shrine operations.

Provides $250,000.00 from the Capital Expense Fund to the Mississippi Veterans Monument Commission for constructing a Mississippi Memorial Monument at Shiloh National Military Park and $50,000.00 for the Statewide Oral History Project.

Authorizes up to $750,000.00 for repair and renovation of the New Capitol, Old Capitol, Governor's Mansion, and War Memorial Building, and $21,500.00 for purchase and restoration of the Nabors Building in Smithville.
