Appropriates $7,284,121.00 from the State General Fund to the Department of Public Safety, Division of Mississippi Highway Safety Patrol for fiscal year 2014 (July 1, 2013 - June 30, 2014).

Funds are designated for expenses of a 60-member Highway Patrol trooper training class conducted at the Mississippi Law Enforcement Officers Training Academy.

Authorizes 60 permanent full-time positions to replace retired active patrol officers and prepare for potential future retirements.

Appropriated funds are payable by the State Treasurer upon warrants issued by the State Fiscal Officer according to law.

Takes effect July 1, 2013.
