Brings forward Section 43-13-115 of the Mississippi Code of 1972, which specifies eligibility categories for Medicaid recipients.

Establishes 27 categories of eligible individuals including recipients of public assistance, SSI beneficiaries, pregnant women, children, disabled workers, Medicare beneficiaries, and individuals requiring specific medical treatments.

Includes provisions for children to remain Medicaid eligible for 12 months following an eligibility determination or until age 18, whichever comes first.

Requires the Division of Medicaid to apply for federal waivers necessary to implement certain eligibility categories, including services for women of childbearing age and elderly or disabled individuals not otherwise covered by Medicare.

Takes effect July 1, 2013.
