Increases the maximum total assistance per county from $650,000 to $720,000 under the Rural Fire Truck Acquisition Assistance Program.

Expands eligibility to allow counties to purchase up to 12 fire trucks instead of 11, with the additional truck eligible for up to $70,000 in assistance.

Adds a new tier (xii) allowing counties that have received 11 fire trucks to apply for one additional truck at not more than $70,000.

Adjusts funding allocations across all eligibility tiers to accommodate the additional twelfth truck, with counties receiving fewer $50,000 trucks and more $70,000 trucks in later rounds.

Effective date: July 1, 2013.
