Amends Section 63-9-11 to allow courts to approve Internet-based traffic safety violator courses for drivers charged with misdemeanor traffic offenses seeking nonadjudication.

Internet-based courses must be approved by the Mississippi Department of Public Safety and conducted by a company or organization based in Mississippi.

Eligible defendants may complete at least four hours of a court-approved course (in-person or online) within 90 days to have charges dismissed and record kept nonpublic only.

Defendants must meet existing eligibility requirements including having a valid Mississippi driver's license, no prior convictions within three years, and paying applicable fines plus a $10 election fee.

Effective date is July 1, 2013.
